This Privacy Notice for shlee4290 ("we," "us," or "our") describes how and why we may access, process, store, and otherwise handle information when you use Eviday (the "App"), an Android application that helps you understand and improve your digital habits through personal experiments.
Eviday is designed around on-device processing. The App has no user accounts, backend server, advertising SDK, or analytics SDK. Information obtained through Android Usage Access and Health Connect remains on your device and is not transmitted to us.
Questions or concerns? Reading this Privacy Notice will help you understand your privacy rights and choices. If you do not agree with our practices, please do not use the App. If you still have questions, contact us at [email protected].
This summary provides key points from our Privacy Notice. You can find more detail in the numbered sections below.
What information does Eviday process? Eviday may process Android per-app foreground-use aggregates, application identifiers and labels needed to draw the current weekly pattern graph, optional Health Connect sleep-session and sleep-stage information, and local experiment and reflection records. The exact information depends on the permissions you choose to grant and the features you use.
Does Eviday process sensitive personal information? Health information, including sleep-session information, may be considered sensitive under some laws. Eviday accesses this information only with your explicit Health Connect permission, uses it only for the experiment features you request, and keeps the resulting information on your device.
Does Eviday receive information from third parties? Eviday reads information from Android system services and, if you grant permission, Health Connect. These services provide permission-controlled access on your device. Eviday does not obtain personal information from data brokers, advertisers, or marketing partners.
Why does Eviday process information? Eviday processes information to draw weekly per-app foreground-use and sleep graphs, evaluate personal experiments, display daily progress and comparisons, preserve completed experiment history and reflections on your device, explain data availability and result limitations, and suggest a next action.
Does Eviday share information? Eviday does not transmit or share Android usage information, Health Connect information, or local experiment records. Information you voluntarily send by email may be processed by the email services used to deliver and respond to your message.
How is information protected? Eviday minimizes the information it accesses, stores App information in Android's private application storage, disables backup and device transfer for App data, and does not request internet access.
What are your rights? You can revoke permissions, reset your experiment, clear the App's data, or uninstall the App. Depending on where you live, additional legal rights may apply to information you send directly to us.
Eviday does not require an account, registration, name, phone number, or email address.
If you contact us by email, we receive the email address used to contact us, the contents of your message, and any information or attachments you choose to provide. Please do not include information that is not necessary for your request.
